RSS Google Account
This was a quick and easy thing to do. My only problem was taking the screen shot and saving it to a document. I was unable to do it from home computer, but finally managed to get it done in the computer lab on campus. That was the only frustrating part of this assignment. I really like my page...there is all kinds of information on there...weather, phase of the moon, top stories, you name it! I like the idea of logging onto one site and being able to see topics that interest me. I think I will definitely utilize this site. I subscribed to Stars and Stripes because my son just left for Air Force basic training today. This will be a great way to keep up with changes that may affect him and his career. I didn't really expect this type of resource from this site because I had no idea what it was until I did this assignment. I have already logged onto this site and searched around on some of the RSS feeds that I added.

I thought this was a fun thing to learn! I had never heard of social bookmarking...so this was a neat thing to explore. I took a look at the links suggested that were listed in Module 4 to familiarize myself with the application. I am finding that I am jumping into things and ultimately becoming frustrated during assignments and I found that by researching the subject I had a much more pleasant experience as I went through the assignment. Everything I read said that this was a very easy site to navigate, and I have to agree. It's quick and easy...just follow the steps. I am looking forward to utilizing this website. The greatest thing about this website is that it allows you to organize your favorite websites so much better than by just bookmarking, not to mention the fact that you can access it from other computers. This really is a valuable tool! I am excited about adding other sites of my own, as well as visiting the sites of my classmates.

Introduction
I was just thinking...creating this blog was way too easy!! My name is Janace and I am an elementary education major at IUPUI. I am married and have a son. I was pleasantly surprised at the simplicity of creating this blog...of course having the module 3 instructions helped or I would not have known where to begin! Until recently, I did not have much technology experience at all. I have, however, spent the last year and a half working more with computer programs and applications with my job. It has been a real challenge, especially since many of my coworkers are much younger and have grown up with technology. It is hard not to have an inferiority complex when it seems like everyone "gets it" but you. I am not as intimidated as I once was, but it seems like I have asked a billion questions in my journey. I am excited about this class because I have already accomplished several things that I have never done before. I definitely feel like this class will help immensely in school and in my current job.
